A short film that explores the societal issues such as old parents being abandoned at old folks’ homes and babies from unwanted pregnancies getting thrown in rubbish bins.

Conceptualized, wrote and directed a short film on the theme of TOMORROW where a guy resorts to other means to making the situation better after spoiling it with his own actions.

2019 – FOUND & LOST
FOUND & LOST is a story about Ah Teck, a newspaper delivery man in his sixties, who joins Shivani in her search around the block, for her missing son, Ajay. However, little did he know that he was about to discover a shocking truth.
Taken during the lock-down period remotely by the actors in both Singapore and India, this short film, a drama between a couple, serves as a reflection as to what and who we really appreciate in today’s world.
2020 – THE SARI CONVERSATIONS (YET TO BE RELEASED)
The Sari Conversations is a documentary about sari lovers, from various countries residing in Singapore, who share the emotional connections and memorable moments they have with a sari, a drape that had evolved with time and transcends across various cultures. A project done as part of Singapore’s Bicentennial Celebration.
2020 – THREAD TALES (YET TO BE RELEASED)
THREAD TALES, a historical-fiction short film, chronicles the history and beauty of sari, a drape that has stood the test of time over centuries, using three different vignettes across three time periods (1800s, 1940s, 2000s). In this film, the significance the sari played in the lives of people is depicted using key moments and iconic chapters of Singapore. A project done as part of Singapore’s Bicentennial Celebration.
2021 – HUMDRUM: A BORING WORLD OF SALEEM HADI, is a visual diary of lockdown moments in Singapore that also celebrates the idea of mundane. Inspired by lockdown during COVID in Singapore, this collection of videos will showcase 20 unique moments during COVID-19’s circuit breaker (CB) period that I had experienced.
